This is the latest edition of the Open Power Rankings for the 2018 season. The list was formed by a panel of 12 individuals, spanning all regions, who discuss the top contenders and then vote on the contenders using this prompt: “If these 30 teams played in 100 tournaments tomorrow, who on average would place the best?”. Panelists then rated teams on a scale of 1-10, with the best team on the contender list given a “10” and the worst given a “1”. Spring is finally here and along with it comes the bulk of the 2018 Spikeball™ Roundnet Association (SRA) season. This weekend 74 teams will be heading to Atlanta, GA for the first Southeast Tour event of 2018 and the first Tour Stop outside of the West. This event has attracted a good number of top teams from the Southeast, East, and Midwest that are all looking to start the Tour Series off on the right foot. This tournament also marks a milestone for the SRA and Southeast region as it is the largest tour stop in the Southeast's history. As College Nationals is approaching, this March each of the nine collegiate roundnet sections hosted a Sectional Championship. Five of the nine tournaments took place two weeks ago on March 10th (find those results HERE). The other four were this past Saturday.
