SRA 2019 Nationals Pro Division Power Rankings

1. Cisek/Showalter (Peter Jon Showalter & Tyler Cisek) Cisek/Showalter will attempt to make history this weekend as they go for their third consecutive national title. Tyler Cisek and Peter Jon Showalter have been two of the top players in roundnet for years, but securing a win at Nationals this weekend would make them the most successful team in the history of the sport. In both 2017 and 2018, C/S only surrendered one tournament loss all season (each time losing to Anchored LI). 2019 saw them lose in the quarterfinals twice (to Anchored LI in Seattle and Boysterous in Nashville). Written by Solomon Berry The tournament of the year is here! With over 200 teams registered, the focus will still be on the 16-team Pro Division consisting of the top teams from the entire year. From the big guns at the top to the surprise auto-qualifiers, everyone has tons of talent and will be incredible to watch. Not only that, but everyone’s favorite team, GLOBAL BEANS !!! will be playing, and the Twitch stream will probably break a viewing record based off that alone. Besides that, there’ll be big aces from Heck and Bies, great defense from Schweppes and Anchored, and surely some upsets that no one would have predicted. 2019 SRA Nationals - Advanced Division Preview

Written by Solomon Berry Fittingly, the biggest Advanced Division of the year is at Nationals, with a whopping 70 teams. There will be some amazing teams this year, with some teams that have already been very close to breaking through to Premier, but only two-half Premier teams. There should be some very tight matchups throughout the day, and the quarterfinals matchups and on will be very tough to pick between.
