The Midwest Tour Series kicked off in Chicago on April 21. Despite the cold weather, 70 teams made it out to compete in the Advanced, Intermediate, and Women's Divisions. On Sunday 15 teams returned to Cricket Hill for the Coed Division as well. In a field of top teams and high-caliber mash-ups, the mash-up Hoodiez of Ryan Fitzgerald and Dylan Fogarty came out on top. This duo just edged out the #6 Point Loma Spike (Kenny Orega and Zach Wood) in one of the most exciting finals in recent memory. George Fox University earns the honors for our April Club of the Month! They crushed it and are quickly becoming a force in the Pacific Northwest! Check out how they made their magic below! What is your Spikeball™ story? I started playing roundnet back in early 2015. One of my good mates, Daniel, introduced me to the sport and we started playing whenever the sun came out. I’d team up with Ben, my tournament partner over the last couple of years, and Daniel would play with a dude called Calvin. Last year, the first ever Spikeball™ College Nationals was held at Clemson University. This year the action is heading to The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio where 44 teams and 21 schools will be competing for the titles of top individual team and top club. On Saturday, all 44 teams will compete in the individual tournament which is held like all other roundnet events. This bracket will give us the top individual teams in collegiate roundnet and also be used to seed for the club bracket on Sunday.
