Charlotte Tour Stop to Feature Strong Advanced Field and Top Three Women's Teams

After competitive events in both Atlanta and Dallas, the Southeast Tour Series will continue this Saturday in Charlotte, North Carolina. Forty-eight teams will be making it out to Turner Field to compete. On Saturday, the Advanced Division will consist of a few steady teams and many strong mash-ups. The Women’s Division will feature exciting matches between the top 3 teams: Ogres Heroes, Razzmatazz, and Cougs. Advanced Division Last year, the Charlotte Tour Stop found an unexpected victor. Easily Dug and University of Tennessee Chattanooga Win 2018 Spikeball™ College Nationals

Schweppes (Micah Zimmerman and Jesse Showalter, second), Easily Dug (Andrew Card and Travis Core, first), and Coup d'Etat (Grayson Ayres and Sam Konstanty, third) pose for a picture after College Nationals. The collegiate Spikeball™ roundnet season ended with College Nationals at Ohio State University. The two-day tournament kicked off on April 28th with the Individual Team Tournament. Four teams from the April Open Power Rankings were in attendance: Spicy Rubi (5), Easily Dug (7), Schweppes (11), and Recrem (17). On April 29th, the teams returned to compete in their respective squads in the Club Tournament. The Individual Team Tournament Pool Play was divided into Power Pool and non-Power Pool teams. SRA Open Power Rankings - June 2018

This is the latest edition of the Open Power Rankings for the 2018 season. The list was formed by a panel of 12 individuals, spanning all regions, who discuss the top contenders and then vote on the contenders using this prompt: “If these 30 teams played in 100 tournaments tomorrow, who on average would place the best?”. Panelists then rated teams on a scale of 1-10, with the best team on the contender list given a “10” and the worst given a “1”.
