Premier Division
About Premier
Premier is an exclusive division within the Spikeball Tour Series for the top 1% of roundnet players. Players can earn Premier when finishing in top spots at Spikeball Tour Series events. The Premier Division elevates the development of roundnet, allowing us to showcase the best athletes and providing beginner and intermediate players a goal to aspire to.
How do I earn Premier? (To be updated for 2023 season)
- In North America, Top 4 teams non-premier in Contender division at Challengers, top 6 non-premier teams at Majors, and top 8 non-premier teams at The Spikeball Championship.
- In the EU, Top 8 non-premier teams teams in Contender division at Challengers. We recognize that there are fewer opportunites to earn premier in the EU and are therefore extending the placements that earn it.
- In North America players cannot earn premier with a current premier player.
-
In the EU, you can earn premier with a non-North American premier partner. For example, Buddy Hammon can’t play in France and help earn his partner premier, but a French player who has premier can help earn their non-premier partner the status.
- In the above case, a hybrid premier team counts as one of the teams that Premier is awarded to. Premier is not awarded to teams ranked lower, even if hybrid teams earn the status.
